• We're a London-based Tech for Good startup disrupting the old school way of employee volunteering. We’ve just raised our pre-seed round so you’ll be joining at a really exciting stage of our growth!
• Our approach reimagines volunteering. We pair employees with unique volunteering opportunities at exciting non-profits and startups by helping them find their perfect cause and the best use of their skills - some might call it a perfect ‘match’!
• We’ve experienced fantastic traction since our launch in 2019 and are currently onboarding some of the UK’s biggest and most innovative companies, with the aim of delivering £2 billion of value via 6 million hours of volunteering to organisations changing the world over the next 3 years.
• We launched the newest version of our platform in September 2021 and are excited to be taking Matchable to the next level by scaling our client base, and becoming the go-to company for employee volunteering!

⚒️  THE JOB AND YOUR MISSION

• You’ll be the person taking ownership of the technical direction of the company, building out and improving on the existing platform. We have lots of great ideas on our tech roadmap for 2022 and you’ll be the person making sure these ideas become reality and we achieve our product vision!
• You’ll be liaising with different teams in the company, from Sales to Marketing to Account Management and Operations to prioritise and build user requirements into our platform. 
• We’re growing quickly and we want you to grow with us. If you ace this role, there are a lot of opportunities to take on a more strategic / leadership position within the company. We also plan to expand the tech team after securing our next round of funding in Q2 of this year and you’ll be the person helping us grow the team. 

👀REQUIREMENTS

• Full-stack JavaScript developer, 4+ years of experience
• Experienced with React, Node, AWS, SQL databases
• Solid understanding of design and UX principles
• Comfortable with both backend and frontend

🥇NICE TO HAVE

• Experience building SAAS or B2B products
• Experience building software at scale
• Able to design and user test new features
• Interest or experience in machine learning
• Experience in a fast-growth startup
• Experience leading a team
• Ability to communicate well outside the software team
• Experience working with stakeholders e.g. marketing and sales team
