As Marketing Content Coordinator, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to support the delivery of Equal’s marketing strategy. With an exciting and ambitious marketing strategy in place, we are looking for a Marketing Content Coordinator to come and join our team and help us achieve our goals. You will support the planning and delivery of marketing activities, spanning both B2C and B2B, to help deliver a fantastic experience for our clients, colleagues and stakeholders.

The postholder will be a coordinator of marketing and content activities, collaborating with our Marketing team to deliver impactful multi-channel marketing activities across both online and offline. The individual will work with colleagues to help refine an end-to-end customer experience journey content plan from initial point of enquiry, through the sales process and into aftercare, working across web, CRM and printed materials.

This is a brand new, exciting, hands-on role which would suit a highly organised but innovative and creative communicator who can solve problems, meet deadlines and turn their hand to carefully crafting engaging content.

More about you

The right candidate for this role should be able to recognise the need to adapt your writing style to meet the needs of the audience in the appropriate tone of voice, be that internal, external or for the channel we are using. We are looking for someone who has previous experience working across digital channels, including Web, and Emails and will have worked in a similar role with a focus on the customer experience journey. You will need experience in managing social media platforms/content and using tools to help support your role. It's essential that you hold a relevant qualification and experience working in the education industry would be advantageous.

You will be a confident and articulate person who is proactive and can present new and innovative content ideas. You will have a curious and creative mind, know about up-and-coming digital trends, and have a great understanding of how social media platforms work. This is an exciting role which offers the opportunity to work with passionate marcomms professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital and in-person events - organising materials, booth and marketing content/collateral
  • Working closely with various teams including recruitment, tuition and professional learning
  • Social media management
  • Website updates and maintenance
  • Delivery of pre-written email marketing campaigns
  • Copywriting
  • Content creation in collaboration with Brand and Marketing managers

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in social media management and automation (Hootsuite, Sendible etc)
  • 2 years of relevant experience in an in-house or agency team
  • Excellent language and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively
  • A portfolio showcasing work across social media

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Content creation experience
  • Experience with Wordpress
  • Previous experience in recruitment
  • Welsh-speaking is desirable but not essential

You will also need to be digitally literate and able to effectively pick up/learn how to use new systems.

A willingness to learn

Full training will be provided but strong intuition and curiosity to learn will be especially helpful.

Qualifications

Degree-level qualifications would be desirable. We are equally interested in hearing from motivated school-leavers and those who’ve taken other paths.
