Reporting into our CIO, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our Impact Analytics team. You’ll be our internal Salesforce champion, identifying and executing improvements to our business-wide SF processes. You’ll closely coordinate with our engineering team, super users and external contractors, to ensure we have the correct and most useful SF setup, with the right controls in place to allow our teams to maximise their impact. You’ll build reports, create accessible process documentation and enable data-driven decision making, playing an integral part in helping us empower entrepreneurs to do immense good.

You’ll:

  • Project manage improvements to our Salesforce, from identifying user needs to designing and implementing solutions/processes with automations or using the built-in process builder. You’ll review current team processes, e.g. our member experience, and project manage improvements.
  • Improve reporting capabilities, refine data structures, generate bespoke data for specific projects and proposals, provide recommendations on how data should be used in external products, design new workflows, build more general tech automations to improve internal efficiency, and beyond.
  • Build a brand-new ticketing system for company-wide use, using either Salesforce Cases and Queues or a 3rd party ticketing system, e.g. Zendesk.
  • Create accessible and useful documentation on all SF processes used by teams.
  • Ensure all necessary data is being collected in a logical and effective way, so we can reliably measure and report on our organisational and team KPIs.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining our internal data (primarily held within Salesforce) including monthly data quality reviews, system backups and validation and data quality enforcement.
  • Select or build internal automation workflows between our work systems and Salesforce (e.g. Asana, Slack, Dropbox) and guide on appropriate methods for automation (such as building new tooling, using existing APIs or SF Apps, Zapier etc).
  • Support data visualisation with appropriate data structures and connections to Tableau.
  • Review weekly change logs/updates by other users in our test environment.
  • Act as the interface to external contractors, who will work on more extensive project requirements.
ABOUT YOU

Overall, you’ll be confident in managing Salesforce in a stand-alone role. You’ll be experienced in end-to-end project management of new processes and improvements, from inception to rolling-out across the business and training where necessary. You’ll have a passion for well documented, beautiful data systems, always with the efficiency of end users in mind.

More specifically, you’re likely to have:

  • Experience administering Salesforce (a Salesforce Admin Certification would be great, but not essential) in a stand-alone role.
  • Strong project management skills and stakeholder management - you’ve worked with teams to identify needs and execute relevant and useful solutions. Experience with external stakeholders is also useful.
  • Experience introducing a Salesforce ticketing system and ensuring correct use across an organisation (either using SF tools or a 3rd party app).
  • Familiarity with industry best practices in Salesforce implementation and the ability to lead the charge in making sure we’re set up for growth and increased complexity over the coming years.
  • A technical mindset with experience developing and testing via change sets (or Visual Studio), as well as a proven ability to build automated processes using workflows, process builders and flows (Apex would be a bonus), particularly within Salesforce.
  • Experience installing and managing 3rd-party apps (e.g. DLRS, NPSP, S-Docs, Crunchbase) that relate to our internal databases.
  • Previous experience creating smart and useful documentation on all Salesforce processes.
WHY WORK WITH US?

You can find more about the benefits we offer here, but what makes us truly special is both our mission and our people. We’re a diverse team, from both charitable and commercial backgrounds, who believe that amazing things can happen when we tackle problems together. We offer a flat structure and an opportunity to help shape the future of philanthropy.

We have a flexibleapproach to working. We ask that applicants to this role are based in either the UK, or East Coast USA. Although we have a small HQ in London, there’s no expectation for you to attend on a regular basis. At the same time, if you think you’d benefit from a desk in a co-working space close to your home, this can be arranged. Otherwise, you just need a great home wifi connection and we’ll provide you with everything else you need to be successful in your role.

On top of this, we’ll bring the global team together once per year (when safe to do so)!

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at Founders Pledge. We seek people with different strengths, experiences and backgrounds, who share our drive to understand and solve complex social challenges. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Finding solutions to the world’s most pressing problems requires different perspectives and unique ways of thinking and we are committed to building an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone can do their best work.
