The Tech Team

We are the tech team that drives everything online for the Bike Club. From ecommerce, orders, customers and marketing – to interactive features such as bike finders, social tools and many other yet unannounced projects.

We have a lot of exciting things in the pipeline that will involve building web apps, mobile apps and developing other new ways of pushing the Bike Club technology forward, creating a more streamlined and exciting experience for our customers.

We have a fun and inclusive work environment that currently meet in-person 2 days a week at our Fulham office, with plans to move to a more central location later in the year.

You

You will support all back-end aspects of the tech team’s projects.

Work may include:

- Work on Node projects that support our React website

- Building internal operational apps in Node

- Working on back-end integrations with Salesforce and other stock/order/asset management systems

- Build-upon and maintain our AWS Lambdas that act as middleware for our various systems

- Assist in managing our serverless infrastructure in AWS

- Working closely with the Senior Back-end developer and front-end developers

You will enjoy working with a vibrant group of tech-minded people, contributing to ideas and enjoying experimenting with new tools and processes.

Your Experience

- 2+ years experience working with a back-end framework such as Node JS

- 2 + years experience building web applications / software

- Solid knowledge of software development principles

- Experience building and / or consuming REST or GraphQL apis

Nice-to-have Experience

- Experience with front-end technologies such as JS/React/Angular/CSS/HTML etc

- Experience working with AWS/Vercel/Shopify/other servers and platforms

- Experience working with ecommerce

- Experience with end-to-end and automated testing
