Senior Process Engineer

The role: As a Senior Process Engineer at Rivan Industries, you will take full ownership of the process engineering of the Rivan system. This role involves the entire development cycle across any of our modules, including reactors, electrolysers, or DAC. The responsibilities can be tailored to fit the specialist skillset of the applicant. You will ideate novel architectures, drive Aspen modelling and optimisation, own detailed process calculations, define control architectures, specify and procure components, and manage process safety. Additionally, you will oversee the assembly, integration, site commissioning, and test plans of our systems.

Job requirements: Candidates should have at least 5 years of professional experience and hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical engineering or a related field. Experience in designing, building, commissioning, and operating deployed process plants is essential. Additional skills such as HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA leadership experience, CAD experience, and Chartered Engineering Status will be advantageous.

Benefits: Rivan Industries offers a competitive salary range of 70,000-100,000 GBP depending on experience, significant share options as part of the early team, health insurance, unlimited time-off, and extensive relocation support including an additional 6,000 per year to live close to our HQ in Bermondsey, South London.
