Role Requirements

The Role: As a Staff Data Engineer at tem, you will lead the design and evolution of our data platform. This role is a blend of technical leadership, system architecture, and product thinking. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and energy domain experts to ensure our data is reliable, scalable, and drives business value. This position offers the unique opportunity to build a data platform from the ground up, setting the cultural norms, standards, and practices.
Job Requirements: We are looking for someone with proven experience at a staff level, with a strong background in building and scaling modern data platforms. You should have deep experience in Python and modern data stack components like orchestration tools and warehousing solutions. Experience with cloud data infrastructure (AWS or GCP) is essential.
