About the role

As a Social Entrepreneur Support Manager, you will be responsible for delivering market-leading and inclusive support to social entrepreneurs to maximise their social impact in the healthy ageing space and improve the quality of life for marginalised older adults and reduce health inequalities in the UK.

Each year you will provide support to innovative entrepreneurs at different stages of their journey, from ideation to scale, and deliver a varied package of support to entrepreneurs that includes funding, peer support, consultancy, networking and coaching.

You will also play a role in finding the most impactful social entrepreneurs from across the UK and developing a diverse pipeline of applicants, 50% of whom will be disabled or from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds.

You will have the opportunity to become a champion of the rights of older adults and lead the development of our support in the healthy ageing space. This will include building internal knowledge and awareness of the issues faced by older adults and the solutions that social entrepreneurs are providing, increasing our visibility and reputation across the sector as leaders in this space, and expanding our networks to increase our reach and embed our offer within the ecosystem.

This role will be part of our Healthy Ageing team and will report into the Impact Lead who manages this area.

We particularly welcome applications from people with disabilities, Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQIA and from different socio-economic and educational backgrounds.

  • Application Closing Date: Midnight on 27th May 2022
  • First round of interviews: Wednesday 8th June 2022
  • Final interviews: Friday 17th June 2022
