We are looking for an experienced and highly numerate Financial Controller to work in a fast-paced and dynamic role that will constantly evolve to meet the needs of a high growth business. You will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for all day-to-day financial operations at SunGod.

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Carry out all day-to-day tasks related to accounts receivable and payable, and prepare VAT returns;
✔ Manage the monthly payroll for employees ensuring that salaries and pensions are correctly paid on time.
✔ Ensure all transactions are recorded, filed and reported properly;
✔ Oversee the monthly reporting process including the production of monthly management accounts and associated reports;
✔ Develop profitability and cashflow reporting to support business growth;
✔ Analyse financial data and report findings to the senior management team to inform key strategy decisions;
✔ Assist with accurate forecasting and budgeting for all departments;
✔ Understand SunGod’s triple bottom line of people, planet and profit, and incorporate this into your role accordingly.
Flexible working
We care about the work you produce, not the hours spent at your desk. You are free to work hours that fit around your hobbies and personal commitments. The only condition is that the objectives are met and the output is to the required and highest standard.
We ask that you work from our office 2 or 3 days a week for team cohesion.

The ideal person has the following skills, experiences and competencies:
✔ 2-5 years relevant experience in finance and accounting. This may include consultancy experience;
✔ University degree or equivalent experience in a similar role;
✔ Exceptional analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills;
✔ Highly computer literate, strong Excel skills required;
✔ Strong written and spoken communication;
✔ Proficiency with cloud-based accounting software (Xero/FreeAgent etc) preferred;
✔ A passion for sustainability and outdoor/adventure/performance sports is desirable;
✔ Fluent English both written and verbal.
