As the Program Manager for Math Talent, you will be instrumental in crafting the donor development and policy strategy of a new funding initiative for exceptional mathematical prowess. Your role will encompass fund policy intelligence, identification of growth opportunities, relationship building to steer U.S. STEM talent policy, and donor cultivation to enlarge a $50M commitment base fund.

Role Requirements:

This position comes with attractive remuneration, ranging between $140,000 - $190,000, and includes a comprehensive benefits package, alongside 401K contribution.

The role: As the Program Manager for Math Talent, you will support donor development and policy strategy for a new philanthropic fund aimed at identifying and supporting exceptional math talent. This includes serving as the fund's policy intelligence hub, identifying opportunities, building relationships to advance U.S. STEM talent policy, and driving donor cultivation and fundraising to expand the fund beyond its $50M anchor commitment. This position is based in Washington D.C., with potential flexibility to be based in New York City, to enable in-person work and engage key policymakers.
Job requirements: Candidates should have 5–12 years of experience in federal policy, government affairs, or policy advocacy, ideally related to education, science policy, technology policy, or STEM fields. Strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and established relationships within the policy ecosystem are essential. Experience with fundraising and donor relations is a plus.
