Based at the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF), you will invest your skills and passion into fighting wildlife crimes and conserving endangered species, tying your love for animals, the environment, education, and art together. With a solid track record of over 30 years, you will become part of an initiative that has already invested over £14m directly into wildlife conservation.
Role Summary

The role: As the Trusts & Foundations Manager, you will develop and deliver a robust fundraising program targeting charitable trusts and foundations both in the UK and internationally. You will work closely with the Senior Management Team to identify and secure significant multi-year funding, focusing on conservation, education, and art programs. This role is pivotal in building relationships and crafting compelling proposals to ensure DSWF's long-term resilience and strategic goals.
Job requirements: The successful candidate will have proven experience in securing funding from trusts and foundations, excellent writing skills for funding applications, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Strong financial literacy and a genuine interest in conservation are essential. Experience in international grant-making and a background in environmental conservation are desirable.
