Role Summary

  • Provide strategic leadership and governance as a Volunteer Trustee
  • Ensure the financial health of the organisation alongside the Treasurer
  • Manage annual financial planning, approve financial statements, and advise on financial resources and investment policies
  • Participate in quarterly board meetings and one annual meeting requiring travel which will be sponsored by the charity

Role Requirements

  • A background in finance or accounting with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience in the UK
  • An accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with the governance of non-profits and an understanding of financial management and reporting

The Role: As a Volunteer Trustee, you will provide strategic leadership and governance, ensuring the financial health of the charity alongside the Treasurer.
