Role Summary
- Provide strategic leadership and governance as a Volunteer Trustee
- Ensure the financial health of the organisation alongside the Treasurer
- Manage annual financial planning, approve financial statements, and advise on financial resources and investment policies
- Participate in quarterly board meetings and one annual meeting requiring travel which will be sponsored by the charity
Role Requirements
- A background in finance or accounting with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience in the UK
- An accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or equivalent)
- Familiarity with the governance of non-profits and an understanding of financial management and reporting
