Role Summary:
- As a Junior Video Producer, you’ll be in charge of producing engaging and informative content for Kew’s website and social media platforms.
- Duties include filming interviews with expert horticulturists and scientists, and creating films that highlight the wonder of the world’s most unusual plants and fungi.
- The role requires a versatile individual skilled in tasks ranging from researching and scripting to self-shooting and editing.
Role Requirements:
- Candidates must have proven experience in a similar video producing role, with a good eye for detail and understanding of narrative.
- Experience in producing video content for a multitude of platforms, especially social media, and knowledge of best practices for each format is necessary.
- A strong technical proficiency in self-shooting with Canon cinema cameras and editing audio and video using Adobe CC suite is fundamental.
- Excellent organisation and data management skills are required to manage and maintain our video archive.
