You will be solving complex payment issues, reducing systemic friction, and translating frontline insights into scalable improvements. The role requires experience in customer-facing payment or billing operations in industries like fintech, energy, or SaaS. Being an expert in navigating different systems and making accurate decisions, as well as a track record of recognizing patterns and implementing systemic improvements, are fundamental to the role. Key skills include empathy, customer judgment, an awareness of revenue protection, and the ability to use CRM tools like HubSpot or Intercom. The Role: As a Senior Payments CX Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire customer payments experience, which includes payment processing, billing, and early debt management. This role is crucial for ensuring that our revenue is safeguarded while simultaneously increasing customer trust. You will serve as the subject matter expert in payments across the Customer Experience, Product, and Finance teams. Your responsibilities will include resolving complex payment issues, reducing systemic payment friction, and translating frontline insights into scalable improvements across our payments engine.

Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing customer-facing payment or billing operations in complex environments such as fintech, energy, SaaS, or marketplaces. You should possess strong investigative skills, be capable of operating across various systems and stakeholders to achieve accurate outcomes, and have a proven track record of identifying patterns and implementing systemic improvements. Additionally, a high level of empathy and customer judgment is required, balanced with an awareness of revenue protection and compliance. Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot or Intercom is essential.
