The role: Marketing Team Manager
We're looking for a highly organised, driven and enthusiastic individual to join Equal Education Partners as our Marketing Team Manager.
Leading the day to day running of the marketing team (of three other people), collaborating with the strategic lead and reporting directly to Equal’s Managing Director, this role involves ensuring that our marketing strategy is effectively implemented across all divisions at Equal and on behalf of external clients.
Responsibilities
- Leading the marketing team including a team of three direct reports (Brand & Design Manager, Social & CRM Manager; and Content & Events Manager)
- Managing the needs of our multiple internal education divisions/teams/brands and those of external clients
- Managing the relationships with and liaising with high priority clients including Welsh Government and the Education Workforce Council
- Project management using collaboration and PM tools including Asana, Slack etc.
- Collaborating with the Strategic lead on strategy implementation, system integrations, digital campaigns, analytics & reporting
- Reporting directly to the MD
- Informing the strategic direction of Equal Education Partners’ divisions’/teams’/brands’ structure and development of additional client account
- Collaborating with the HE & STEM Partnerships & Education Recruitment teams to support their work with all Welsh universities (developing and delivering summer schools and recruiting graduates/PGCE students)
- Developing new business development strategies and marketing partnerships
Requirements
- Minimum two years' experience working in marketing (in house or agency)
- Significant knowledge of the education sector
- Knowledge of public sector and higher education clients
- Leadership skills and capability to lead a small team
- Proactive approach to work constantly seeking new opportunities and solutions
- Highly-motivated when working both collaboratively and independently
- Excellent organisational/ project management skills
Salary: £33-£36k
