The European Space Agency (ESA) offers a dynamic role within its Strategy and Transformation Office, managed by the Director of Operations. Role Requirements:

Our team and mission Under the direct authority of the Director of Operations, the Strategy and Transformation Office is tasked with preparing and formulating strategies in collaboration with the Director and the management team. This includes formulating, communicating, and evolving the Directorate's overall strategy, leading the Directorate's strategy evolution, and establishing and leading the Directorate Innovation Governance through D/OPS-wide innovation cups. Additionally, we coordinate the strategic planning and implementation of the Directorate Research and Technology (R&T) activities in close cooperation with relevant ESA actors, fostering the development and supporting the establishment of the Directorate's strategic partnerships, and developing the Directorate's Business Intelligence by monitoring and analyzing the external and internal environment and overlooking the socio-economic impact of the Directorate's business.
The role You will deliver a 6-month project supporting the goal of remaining at the forefront of innovation in mission operations and space safety to enable European space industry competitiveness on the global market. The specific aims of your project will be defined based on your skills.
Job requirements Applicants must be university students, preferably at the master's level, and must be able to prove enrollment at their University for the entire duration of the internship. A good knowledge of English or French is required, and knowledge of another ESA Member State language is an asset. An engineering background is not essential; MBA students and those with a STEM background are encouraged to apply.
