Supported by Cambridge Zero (University of Cambridge), the UN Environment Programme, the Eden Project, Climate 2025 and 1% For The Planet, AimHi Earth enables and empowers organisations, leaders and communities around the world to build a healthier, cooler, more verdant future together.
We’ve delivered training for the UK House of Lords, Team GB athletes and BBC Sport presenters, an online audience of over 10,000 people at COP26, at a G7 Opening Event - as well as for numerous businesses ranging from Unilever, Edelman and Sky to Ben and Jerry's, Riverford Organic and Waterbear.
AimHi Earth is a ‘purpose over profit’ organisation, and our mission is to provide everyone with the essential tools, systems thinking and holistic understanding needed to overcome the climate and nature crisis.
THE ROLE

Do you want to play a pivotal role in combating the climate and nature emergency by educating and empowering people all around the world, from farmers to teachers to politicians to celebrities?
Are you in love with nature and the natural world, and do you project that energy through everything that you do?
Do you communicate and present through curiosity, stories, charisma and magic?
Do you have experience on camera as a presenter, and a background related to climate and ecology, so that you can speak with authority?
Are you looking for a part-time role to channel your energy into combating the global crisis?

We are seeking charismatic and experienced presenters to deliver scripted and/or freeform Climate & Nature Crisis Action material, live and recorded, to a range of audiences including politicians, celebrities, business leaders, community leaders, charities and members of the public, to motivate and inspire rapid global change.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Delivering (and honing the delivery of) targeted materials for:
- Youth activists around the world.
- Celebrities and sportspeople.
- Large cohorts of team members at organisations like Sky, Unilever and the BBC, both live and on-demand.
- Policymakers, like those at the UK House of Lords.
- Schools, internationally.
- Presenting scripted content for video and audio.
- Supporting and working with a global community of youth changemakers (optional)
- Running or co-running freeform science communication sessions like climate action Q&As (optional)
- Helping to forge the culture for a growing troupe of exceptional, impact-focused climate and nature communicators.
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- A demonstrable ability to present with charisma and energy that’s carefully targeted towards each audience
- A qualification (or demonstrable background) in the study and/or communication of climate, natural sciences and/or ecology
- Enthusiasm, a love of people and a relatability to people of all backgrounds
- Reliability - much time, dedication and emotional energy will be invested in you!
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a remote team
NICE TO HAVES
- A background in acting or another type of performance medium
- Experience on camera
- Experience with online broadcasting software
- An active social media presence
- Tutoring experience
- Consulting experience
- Experience using Google Drive, Notion and Slack
- Experience working with social enterprise start-ups
- Ability to speak other languages
- Commitment to combating the climate and nature crisis and inspiring positive change!
