Role Summary - As a Woodland Adviser you'll be crucial in driving landscape-scale change through the Dyfi to Dwyryd Treescape programme. Role Requirements - Applicants should have experience in project and budget management, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and experience in land management advice for conservation and woodland management. Proficiency in Welsh and a full driving licence are also desirable.

The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity, dedicated to the protection, restoration, and creation of native woodlands. We are currently seeking a Woodland Adviser for the Dyfi to Dwyryd Treescape (D2D) programme. This role is crucial in driving landscape-scale change by working with a variety of stakeholders to implement conservation practices that include agroforestry, ancient tree protection, and woodland management.

The Role: As a Woodland Adviser, you will support the delivery of the D2D programme, ensuring projects are well-managed, effective, and within budget. You will inspire and enable landowners and partners to adopt impactful conservation practices. Your responsibilities will include providing specialist advice on agroforestry and supporting wider woodland management initiatives. You will also lead or support project development, organize demonstration events, and work closely with communications teams to raise awareness about the importance of woodland conservation.

Job Requirements: Candidates should have proven experience in project and budget management, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to work effectively in partnership settings. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is experience in land management advice related to conservation and woodland management. Proficiency in Welsh and a full driving license are highly desirable.
