The Salty Pelican Yoga & Surf retreats in Portugal are looking for surf & lifestyle Photographers to join our team for the 2022 season.
Our season in Portugal is from mid-March till the end of October
You are independent, can engage with guests and can get things done with a systematic approach to work.
Main responsibilities to shoot photos & videos of our guests as well as some organised shoots from our marketing team.
It’s important that you are also helping to contribute towards The Salty Pelican experience as a host by also engaging with our guests on a daily basis. You will be following the guests around most of the time, capturing them at sunrise yoga, in and out of the surf, joining them on excursions and eating meals with them at times. You will be required to produce both still & video content during the same activities to upload daily to a guest folder. Each week you will put together a short video edit of the best content for our marketing team to upload.
The job is Paid and we offer subsidised staff accommodation & meals if required.
There’s also plenty of time to explore the surrounding nature, learn how to surf and join our yoga classes in your free time.

Prerequisites:
- Preference is given to Photographers who can stay the whole season, 6 months+
- Own Camera Equipment & have prior work experience
- Strong interpersonal communication skills – Languages: English
- 50 Hrs of previous commercial photography experience
- Great people skills, Sociable, Friendly, Hospitable, Flexible, Punctual, Responsible, Team Player, Fun
- Provide a reference from previous photography work experience
