Joining our Senior Management Team, you will have a remit to develop the team in the way you wish, taking risks, adapting current strategies and coming up with innovative ways to acquire and retain customers. We like to try new things and will back you to implement your ideas with the support of a very experienced SLT.

As a people person who is prepared to lead from the front, you will be inheriting a team of two motivated individuals, all keen to learn and impress. You will support them, giving them a platform to share ideas and strategies & guide them to as to how to achieve them.

The role is brand-new within our well-established, growing D2C Ecommerce company and as such, the scope to mould and shape the remit will hopefully excite and motivate you. The existing team are extremely passionate about our product – this role exists to convey that passion to a wider audience. You’ll be motivated by results, with a vested interest in the bottom line and how you can impact it.

We are at the forefront of supporting sustainable farming in the Southwest, and have a strong ethos that has driven the company since 1989. Who will you be? 

  • A leader: This role is all about developing the team currently in the business, supporting them, noticing potential and motivating them to achieve more. Essential to the role will be taking ownership of all marketing activities, and the results and outcomes that these produce. 
  • Commercial: You’ll be someone motivated by results, all about that bottom line and how you can increase it. With some big goals set out to achieve, you’ll see this as an exciting challenge
  • Passionate: The whole team love what they do and have a true passion for the company and industry they work in. To be a true team fit and leader, passion is a key trait we’ll be looking for

Roles & Responsibilities? 

  • The role will own the full marketing strategy & marketing plan 
  • Responsible for measuring and analysing the effectiveness & outcomes of the plans and strategies that are implemented 
  • Oversee the integration of all channels into the plan - including email, paid & direct mail 
  • Liaise with purchasing and product on Product Launches, promotions and stock management 
  • Oversee the development plan and evolution of the e-commerce provision 
  • Be responsible for sales targets and full marketing spend
  • Manage & develop all members of the marketing team 
  • Manage all external marketing resources

Salary & Benefits: The role will grow as the business continues to flourish, fuelled by your input and ongoing success. There is a clear route to directorship through achievement, with an associated benefits package available. Initial salary level is £50,000 - £70,000 DOE
