THE ROLE
Mob is looking for a Production Coordinator to help create, optimise and manage our busy shooting and production schedules.
Based in Hoxton, Mob is a food-based social media platform aimed at students and young professionals. The Mob team is made up of dynamic, talented individuals who constantly strive to build the platform whilst maintaining a fun and inclusive working environment.
The successful candidate will have a background in fast-paced production environments. They will also have experience in scheduling and budget management. You will be working at an exciting start-up company.
The ideal candidate will be someone who can work well in a small team and work well across a number of different objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule the time of talent, shooters and editors.
- Schedule food and production teams time to ensure prime use of space and workforce across editorial and commercial projects.
- Oversee and schedule the optimum use of production facilities and kit.
- Create and manage a kit/edit suite/studio booking system.
- Implement scheduling and calendar softwares/systems.
- Attend project kick-off meetings in order to assess required resource.
- Organise and oversee schedule for visiting talent.
- Work across all phases of delivery, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and resourced.
- Contribute to weekly reporting & update calls for all production related activity.
- Manage key team databases and spreadsheets, and ensure the proper flow of production information around the company.
- Manage the production budget schedule of each project, to include equipment, subhires and crew.
- Reporting of budget and staff time to ensure project P/L can be properly assessed.
- Flag resourcing issues to Ops Lead.
- Document production requirements; facilitate technical drawings, action plans and timelines, book crew, create and manage call sheets and work schedules.
- Understand H&S compliance and all associated documentation in both planning and delivery phases of the project.
- Contribute to on-site production where applicable, ensuring the highest possible quality standards are met and delivery runs smoothly and to schedule.
- Liaise directly with the client on-site and ensure they are satisfied in line with the project brief.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- At least 2 years in a creative agency or in-house creative department, working under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Previous relevant experience in a similar technical and/or coordination role within the media and/or live events industry.
- Excellent client management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate articulately, with diplomacy and professionalism.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- Teamwork with ability to adapt and respond to a wide range of changing requirements.
- Brilliant email etiquette and spreadsheet skills.
