Communications Executive

Small Business Britain is looking for a bright and ambitious team-player to join our communications team, providing support across a range of campaigns and programmes.

As the UK's leading champion of small businesses, we champion, inspire and accelerate the UK's 5.8 million small businesses to foster growth and increased confidence.

This role would initially be a temporary position, particuarlly to support the tenth anniversary of the iconic Small Business Saturday campaign that our team also runs, taking place on 3 December. However there is potential to progress into a permanent role.

Responsibilities would include working in our busy press office, event management and dealing with stakeholders from government and policy makers, to business owners and corporate supporters.

You will have a passion for communications and making a difference, and be able to work independently in a fast paced environment and as part of our fun, close-knit team.  There are strong opportunities to progress and gain experience working on high profile events and issues.

The role is full time, remote/home based in the UK, but with good opportunities to travel to high profile events across the country.
