We are Multiverse, a tech scaleup with a social mission. We’re creating a diverse group of future leaders by building an outstanding alternative to university and corporate training, through the power of professional apprenticeships.

We’re one of the fastest-growing businesses in Europe and rapidly expanding in North America, working with over 500 clients including McKinsey & Co, Morgan Stanley, Verizon and Visa. In June 2022, we broke the EdTech funding record (again!) by announcing our $220m Series D, making Multiverse the UK’s first ever EdTech unicorn.

Join us on our journey to democratising access to the best careers and learning opportunities.

Requirements

As the first point of contact for our candidates’ journey, the Candidate Success team is the ‘face’ of Multiverse and therefore plays a vital role in representing us to the 10,000s candidates who apply to Multiverse apprenticeships each year.

In this role you will help ensure that we follow a rigorous approach in assessing their suitability, while providing an outstanding service and shaping their experience of becoming future leaders.

This role will afford successful candidates the opportunity to join a new & strategically important team focused on exciting and educating future candidates about the value and importance of the Multiverse experience, with the chance to shape our future direction and build our people-centric, knowledge-based, target-driven approach.

There is a real opportunity here to learn from the best and to carve out a long-term career within a high-growth scaleup driving meaningful change.

Together, we’ll empower a diverse group of future leaders.

Let’s do it.

Specifically you will:

  • Have day to day responsibility for supporting high volumes of candidates to successfully complete their applications.
  • Build a detailed understanding of our programmes in order to play a key role in advising candidates appropriately.
  • Respond to a high volume of enquiries in a timely and professional fashion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates to support their successful application and conversion.
  • manage multiple stakeholders across the business, including the Marketing & Outreach team, Candidate Assessment team, Programme Delivery team and Community team.
  • Deliver excellent customer service - exceeding set targets for conversion, customer satisfaction, and retention.

About you:

  • 1+ years’ experience in a customer facing environment (e.g. sales, client servicing, recruitment)
  • You thrive under pressure and feed off the buzz of chasing down targets & deadlines. You are someone with hustle - not afraid to put yourself out there, pick up the phone, and make things happen.
  • You care deeply about building long-lasting relationships
  • Outstanding stakeholder management, communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Passionate about social mobility, demonstrating empathy for the candidate journey and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Experience working with and supporting young adults to further their career (desirable)

Benefits

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 6 additional days off: 1 life event day, 1 volunteer day and 4 company-wide wellbeing days
  • Health & wellbeing - private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, and access to Spill - all in one mental health support
  • Hybrid & remote working - weekly visits to the London office
  • Equity - every Multiverse has ownership in the business through equity options
  • Team fun - weekly socials and regular offsite events

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

We’re an equal opportunities employer. And proud of it. Every applicant and employee is afforded the same opportunities regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. This will never change.

Right to work

Do you have the right to work in the UK? Unfortunately, at this time we cannot offer sponsorship for this role and we cannot consider overseas applications.

Safeguarding

All posts in Multiverse involve some degree of responsibility for safeguarding. Successful applicants are required to complete a Disclosure Form from the Disclosure and Barring Service ("DBS") for the position. Failure to declare any convictions (that are not subject to DBS filtering) may disqualify a candidate for appointment or result in summary dismissal if the discrepancy comes to light subsequently.
