Requirements

We are looking for an exceptional person to help deliver our data apprenticeships, working with highly engaged groups of young and established professionals as they build their careers in data.

If you love inspiring and combining data and teaching, get a buzz from seeing young professionals develop and learn new skills, and truly care about building the next generation of data professionals, this is the role for you.

Our data coaching team is an incredible mix of industry experts, teachers, and academics. We have Doctors, Scientists and Researchers, and Data Scientists.

In this role you will:

• Teach, mentor, and coach your apprentices through their 13-15 month apprenticeship programme
• Deliver a mixture of one to one and group coaching sessions to a cohort of apprentices
• Take responsibility for your cohort’s progress through their apprenticeship, getting to know their roles in detail and working with their managers to support them to successful completion of the apprenticeship programme and into their future careers.

About you

• You have a passion for all things data.
• You have some prior experience with teaching, tutoring, or coaching.
• You might be finishing up your PhD and have loved being a lab or teaching assistant.
• You might be a Data Scientist/Analyst who has a passion for development and wants to share your knowledge with the next generation.
• You might be a teacher who is passionate about data/programming on the side, and wants to start to blend their passion for data and teaching.
• You believe passionately in social mobility and the development of talent.
• You will also need the full Right to Work in the UK - we currently do not sponsor visas.

Programme specific skills:

• For Data Fellowship - you have experience with either Python or R programming
• For Advanced Data Fellowship - you have experience with Python, R, Cybersecurity, AI, Cloud Computing, Systems development, Advanced databases. Having a Fellowship of Higher Education is a bonus.
• For Data Literacy - you have experience with PowerBI or Tableau
