We are Multiverse, a tech scaleup with a social mission. We’re creating a diverse group of future leaders by building an outstanding alternative to university and corporate training, through the power of professional apprenticeships.

We’re one of the fastest-growing businesses in Europe and rapidly expanding in North America, working with over 500 clients including McKinsey & Co, Morgan Stanley, Verizon and Visa. In June 2022, we broke the EdTech funding record (again!) by announcing our $220m Series D, making Multiverse the UK’s first ever EdTech unicorn.

Join us on our journey to democratising access to the best careers and learning opportunities.

Requirements

Your mission

You will own the development lifecycle of our learning products. These are the apprenticeship courses that we deliver, across a range of business and technical disciplines.

You will partner with learning designers and subject matter experts (SME’s) within the team, as well as collaborating with our Multiverse coaches, operations, marketing and sales teams.

Our ambition is to create apprenticeships that deliver an exceptional ‘applied learning’ experience: combining best-in-class content with one-to-one coaching in order for apprentices to secure a high level of knowledge that they can then apply to their roles.

Once here, you will

  • Build a world-class learner experience by articulating the vision and setting the strategy and roadmap for a set of curricula (products)
  • Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of your products
  • Monitor the products to make sure that things are working as planned
  • Work in a data-informed way, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative research
  • Lead and influence cross-functional product teams of Learning Designers and Writers as well as subject matter experts to build a world-class product set
  • Make sure the learning team focuses on the most impactful work, helping our sales team to sell our programmes effectively and ensure our highly skilled coaches deliver value

What you'll bring

  • Product management experience from a commercial environment or from academic study
  • First class project management, stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A background/passion for EdTech, Learning and Development, teaching or curriculum design
  • Highly capable of formulating and communicating product vision and strategy
  • You see technology as part of the solution but not the whole solution; you can articulate the role of technology in an exceptional blended approach, and equally the role of a coach, facilitator or other high-contact touchpoints
  • You are an advocate of the applied learning route and believe strongly that knowledge, skills and behaviours that are taught must be applied in the workplace
  • You love data; you create hypotheses but always look to data as the source of truth

Benefits

What’s in it for you?

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 6 additional days off: 1 life event day, 1 volunteer day and 4 company-wide wellbeing days
  • Health & wellbeing - private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, and access to Spill - all in one mental health support
  • Hybrid & remote working - weekly visits to the London office
  • Equity - every Multiverse has ownership in the business through equity options
  • Team fun - weekly socials and regular offsite events

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

We’re an equal opportunities employer. And proud of it. Every applicant and employee is afforded the same opportunities regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. This will never change.

Right to work

Do you have the right to work in the UK? Unfortunately, at this time we cannot offer sponsorship for this role and we cannot consider overseas applications.

Safeguarding

All posts in Multiverse involve some degree of responsibility for safeguarding. Successful applicants are required to complete a Disclosure Form from the Disclosure and Barring Service ("DBS") for the position. Failure to declare any convictions (that are not subject to DBS filtering) may disqualify a candidate for appointment or result in summary dismissal if the discrepancy comes to light subsequently.
