💚 The team

The Treedom Sales team is a multinational function with offices in Florence, Munich, London, Paris and Amsterdam. With customers from nearly every country in the world, we have so far supported nearly 9,000 companies to deliver their CSR, Marketing and Employee Wellbeing objectives through delivering tree-planting projects. We work with companies of all sizes and from all sectors, and have off-the-shelf solutions for smaller projects and a huge range of bespoke partnership options for larger companies’ tailored needs.

This role will sit within the UK team of 4 in London, and focus on supporting the London and Amsterdam sales teams.

💡 What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a B2B Marketing Specialist to support our sales teams in London and Amsterdam, reporting directly to our Head of Development (London) and remotely to the Head of B2B Marketing (Florence).

This role is designed to support and grow the sales team performance, predominantly for the UK and Netherlands markets, but maintaining a European and global perspective when needed.

It is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, organised and creative marketing & sales professional to join a fast-growing start-up. You will have worked in a B2B marketing role with experience in leading multi-channel lead generation strategies to help achieve team objectives in awareness and acquisition.

You will be our first hire in this role; responsible for supporting the B2B sales team to achieve their targets in three key ways: increasing B2B awareness and reputation, increasing inbound B2B leads; and identifying and enabling opportunities for outbound B2B lead acquisition.

☝️ Essential skills:

  • You have at least 3-years experience in a B2B marketing or lead generation position
  • You have an excellent understanding of B2B marketing and business KPIs
  • You can create value propositions that communicate clearly to targeted audiences
  • You have a demonstrated ability to manage the budgeting process and use of analytical skills
  • You understand the nature of sales; its challenges, opportunities and areas of potential growth
  • You are a natural relationship builder, able to quickly build rapport with the global Treedom sales team, spread across 5 countries
  • You pride yourself on your organisational skills and have a keen eye for detail
  • You are results driven and motivated by supporting a sales team to grow
  • You have proven sales return from marketing strategies and activations you have led in the past
  • You have complete fluency in English (preferably native speaking)

➜ Main responsibilities

  • Create, implement and own a multi-channel lead generation programme for increasing quality B2B inbound leads (including direct acquisition, paid/barter sponsorship, or B2B partnerships)
  • Scout and negotiate with potential business partners (Events, Networks, Web portals, Media partners, Associations, Business Influencers etc.) and independently project manage the partnership delivery and media placements
  • Support the Head of B2B Marketing to adapt Global B2B campaigns for the UK Market, around key moments such as Earth Day, World Environment Day and Christmas period, ensuring smooth workflows, briefing and creating content for the sales team to use
  • Identify specific market occasions and trends to help inform the global annual b2b marketing plan
  • Work with the Head of B2B Marketing to develop industry-appropriate customer nurturing content such as newsletters, blog posts and impact reports
  • Support the B2B content specialist to create and maintain marketing support material for the sales team to use for creative outreach

  • Familiarity with data platform tools
  • Knowledge of a B2B sales funnel
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills and love creating content individually and as part of a team

Salary

  • Starting salary of £35k - £45k for this role, depending on experience.
