ABOUT THE ROLE

The Head of Marketing (EMEA) is a key part of our regional leadership team and is responsible for developing and managing our marketing and communications in the UK and our Europe export markets. This role is pivotal in our pursuit of being the most loved brand on the planet, dreaming up and delivering the strategic and wildly creative activities that grow our brand awareness, engagement and love.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Picture it, Head of Marketing for EMEA at Minor Figures… Looks good? But what will the day to day be like?

Well, you’ll be:

• Contributing to the development and leadership of the EMEA business as a member of the Regional management team, helping to shape and implement the business strategy. 
• Developing and managing delivery of the EMEA marketing plan, activity calendar and budget to support the overall business strategy, creating the most exciting brand on the planet and supporting the achievement of our sales objectives. 
• Managing, developing and mentoring direct reports, inspiring and coaching for performance.
• Tracking and evaluating marketing activity against agreed targets, including awareness, conversions and sales. 
• Tracking and analyzing consumer and category data, spotting trends to guide strategy and develop the NPD pipeline for the EMEA business. 
• Working closely with the Sales Team, providing category management data and insight to guide plans and initiatives to drive channel dominance. 
• Maintaining regular communication with our Teams in London and LA, to ensure consistency in positioning of the brand in EMEA.
• Working with our London-based creative team and product developers to develop marketing output and deliver NPD projects. 

ABOUT YOUR TEAM

You will be leading a team of four talented and passionate marketers, Alicia, Niall, Nancy and Bryan. You’ll report to our GM for EMEA, Ben, whose ambition for our business will inspire you to think and act at your most strategic and creative level. 

You will also be working closely with Alexa, our CMO, and the global marketing team that will support the work you do in EMEA.

You will have a strong strategic mindset, creativity in spades and will be eager to go beyond the status quo to create a brand that is truly loved by young consumers. 

Your dream role encourages you to bring your phenomenally creative ideas (that ‘blow peoples’ hair back’) to reality, leading your team to deliver solid execution and being keen to roll your own sleeves up too.

• Having strategic thinking and commercial acumen - ability to set a clear direction and build plans that drive MF towards our goals and ensure every marketing dollar is working hard. 
• Being Insights driven - able to collate and analyse multiple sources of data to shape strategy and deliver powerful results. 
• Possessing a creative flair that brings magic to every touchpoint and activation. 
• Being passionate about innovation, creativity, sustainability and the Minor Figures brand
• Having the ability to adapt to changes - able to see the big picture but with a pragmatic and flexible approach to delivery. 
• Demonstrating an open and collaborative nature, developing and nurturing key internal and external partnerships.
• Delivering leadership skills that support our energised and passionate marketing team.

YOUR COMMITMENT

You’ll be based out of our office in East London. Work from home flexibility is supported but the office will be your base and allow you to bring the energy and creativity to help educate and inspire our team. Travel will be expected from time to time as part of your role to ensure you’re across the various regions and markets in your remit.
