Numan, a leader in digital health since 2018, aims to revolutionize healthcare through an integrative approach encompassing diagnostics, medication, therapies, and digital programs. We're seeking an exceptionally skilled Head of Engineering for the obesity department.
Role Summary:

  • Manage engineering tasks related to Numan's fastest-growing area, Stand at the helm of prescribing paths, patient monitoring, engagement, and clinical workflow for effective weight management.
  • Collaborate with varied teams such as Product, Design, Clinical, and Commercial to align engineering initiatives with business objectives and improve patient experience.

Role Requirements:

  • Demonstrable engineering leadership experience in a product-led, rapidly expanding environment.
  • Deep technical expertise in at least one core domain and operating within regulated environments knowledge.
  • Outstanding cross-functional collaboration and team-building skills. Experience in digital health, managing chronic diseases, or scaling engineering groups is advantageous.

The role As the Head of Engineering for Obesity, you will lead the engineering organization responsible for delivering the product experience for Numan's fastest-growing clinical area. This includes overseeing prescribing journeys, treatment monitoring, patient engagement, and clinical workflows for effective weight management. You will work in a fast-paced, regulated environment where clinical integrity, product quality, and speed of execution are crucial for patient outcomes and business performance. Collaborating closely with Product, Design, Clinical, and Commercial leaders, you will ensure that engineering delivery aligns with business goals and supports improvements in patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Job requirements We are seeking a candidate with proven engineering leadership experience in a product-led, high-growth environment. You should have technical depth in at least one core domain and experience operating within regulated environments. A track record of hiring and developing strong teams, along with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, is essential. Experience in digital health, chronic disease management, or scaling engineering teams is highly desirable.
