Our Career Coaches are at the heart of our Careers & Student Enterprise service providing frontline support to students from career-planning to interview preparation. This multifaced and autonomous role will be supporting the Royal Docks School of Business & Law and work closely with students and academics to deliver a careers-first education.
As a Career Coach, you will be supporting students on a one-to-one basis as well as delivering a range of topics into the classroom and we encourage applications from individuals who want to take ownership of developing the careers first content for our Business and Law school and who are eager to develop industry insights that will benefit our students. This role will sit within our award-winning careers service and you’ll be joining a committed team of professionals who are highly driven and committed to delivering against our ambitious graduate employability plan and leading transformational change as part of our Vision 2028.
The successful post holder will be an excellent communicator and able to use a variety of mediums to respond to enquiries from our internal and external audiences. Being a proactive team member, you will also positively contribute to the objectives of the wider Careers team. Using your own initiative, we will look to you to come up with creative solutions to resolve problems. In addition to this, your flexible approach will allow you to adapt quickly to unforeseen changes or new opportunities that arise.
