Role Summary

Role Requirements
- Must be a university student, preferably at master’s level, and must remain enrolled throughout the internship.
- Good knowledge of English or French is required, and knowledge of another ESA Member State language is beneficial.
- Experience in online community management, social media, Content Management Systems, AI, and/or publishing is advantageous.
Our team and mission at the European Space Agency (ESA) involve the Internal Communication Products and Channels Office within the Communication Department. This office is tasked with the coordination, harmonization, development, and implementation of Internal Communication activities across the Agency. Our current objectives include informing employees about the 2040 strategic objectives, unifying ESA's workforce with a clear brand narrative, enhancing engagement, and supporting cultural transformation through new communication platforms like One ESA. We aim to inspire our staff by emphasizing the impact of their contributions, increase visibility of leadership communication, and improve internal corporate and institutional communication.
The role: As an intern, you will join our team and contribute to the planning and execution of key initiatives that strengthen organizational cohesion and employee engagement at ESA. This includes collaborating closely with the internal communication team to design and implement campaigns, drafting, editing, and publishing content for the OneESA Intranet platform, and contributing to the management of online communities. You will also assist in organizing internal events and activities aimed at fostering a sense of community among employees.
Job requirements: Candidates must be university students, preferably at the master’s level, and must be enrolled at their university for the entire duration of the internship. A good knowledge of English or French is required, and knowledge of another ESA Member State language is an asset. Experience in online community management, social media, Content Management Systems, AI, and/or publishing would be advantageous.
