Our team at the European Space Agency (ESA) is part of the Space Transportation Directorate, specifically within the Infrastructure and Value Chain department. We are tasked with maintaining ESA-owned engine test facilities in operational conditions. These facilities are operated by various industry and public sector partners, and we manage the contracts associated with these operations.
The role: As an intern, you will be involved in three main areas: training dossier preparation, innovation actions, and network animation. Initially, you will integrate into our team and learn about our propulsion test bench systems. Your tasks will include creating internal training documents on 'Control-Command Systems' for real-time propulsion test-bench sequences, and preparing external training dossiers with Test Bench operators or Technical Experts. Additionally, you will launch calls for ideas within the Space Community network, assess these ideas, and prepare procurement for implementing the chosen innovations. Lastly, you will organize and prepare for a workshop involving test bench operators and potentially Launch Service Providers, handling logistics and content.
