The European Space Agency (ESA) is excited to offer a position for a Contracts Officer at our headquarters in Paris, France. This role is within the Directorate of Commercialisation, Industry and Competitiveness, specifically in the Contracts Department. The Contracts Department plays a pivotal role in managing procurement-related activities across the agency, aligning with ESA's industrial policy.

The role: As a Contracts Officer, you will be integral to the Space Transportation Contracts Division, working under the guidance of a team leader. Your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of procurement and contracts for space transportation projects. This involves the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with ESA's rules and policies.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have at least six years of relevant experience in contract, procurement, or international business law. A master's degree in law is required. You should possess strong negotiation skills and a good understanding of the European and international business sectors, preferably in the space domain.
