The European Space Agency (ESA) is seeking a Project Controller to join the Infrastructure and Value Chain Project Control Service within the Directorate of Space Transportation. This role is based at ESA Headquarters in Paris, France.
The role: As a Project Controller, you will be instrumental in the preparation, procurement, and monitoring of complex procurements from tendering to the closure of contracts. You will manage financial and planning aspects and support Project Managers in programmatic decision-making. Your tasks will include preparing and updating plans, monitoring deviations, and proposing corrective actions. You will also be involved in financial planning, risk management, and reporting to management and Member State committees.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. You should have substantial experience in project control principles, advanced project control techniques, and major industrial procurements. Experience in finance, controlling, and auditing is desirable, as is knowledge of space systems architecture. Proficiency in ESA ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project is essential.
