We’re looking for our next analyst (20 weeks from September 2022) to join our Nordics HQ and Stockholm office, situated at Norrsken House. This position has a particular focus on mapping out the Danish startup scene and growing tech landscape in Copenhagen.

Crowdcube is the leading retail investment platform in Europe. Close to 1,500 companies including Revolut, Citymapper, Nothing and Greenely… have already leveraged the power of their communities to raise a total of €1.4 billion! In January 2022, Crowdcube launched in the Nordics with offices in Stockholm. Every day people, or ‘retail investors’, can now invest in Nordic businesses they love and care about, from as little as €10- incl. sectors like FinTech, Impact, CleanTech, Mobility and FoodTech. After Nothing, Greenely and Steven- help us locate with the hottest high-growth businesses in Denmark to follow suit!

You will assist a team of two to grow the company in Denmark with varied missions (lead generation, market mapping, content creation, office management…). Your priority will be supporting our Fundraising Managers, starting dialogues within the Danish start-up ecosystem.

Day to day you will:

  • Support building Crowdcube’s sales strategy in the Danish market
  • Source opportunities: find new entrepreneurs to meet every week and qualify leads from all sources (inbound, outbound, partnerships, network…).
  • Grow the sales funnel by identifying the next Danish unicorns
  • Immerse yourself in the Danish startup ecosystem, exchange with VCs, incubators, attend events…
  • Work on market studies & competition analysis.
  • Assist the team in content creation - from articles to sales assets (decks, sequences)...
  • Help us take care of the Nordics office.

Ideally you will be:

  • A self-starter who learns quickly, takes ownership and is accountable
  • Knowledge and curiosity for the startup ecosystem (existing network in Copenhagen a plus but not a requirement)
  • Adaptability & organisation: learn and embrace change in a fast-growing business
  • Basic sales experience, relationship-building skills, commercial focus and ability to prioritise to achieve targets
  • Fluent in a Scandinavian language (Danish a plus but not a requirement) and English

What we’re offering

  • Work with the pioneering founders in the Nordics to grant ownership to their community
  • SEK10,000 monthly compensation
  • Norrsken House offices
  • Wellness initiatives + Access to Plumm (mental health platform)
  • Hybrid remote working possible

To join us you will:

  • Send your application here or via the Hyper Island internship portal (if a HI student)
  • Interview with Benjamin, Fundraising Manager
  • Final meeting with Mikael, Regional Manager Nordics
