Role Summary
- Perform security engineering for ESA missions and projects, with focus on the European Quantum Communication Infrastructure (EuroQCI) and the ESA Secure And cryptoGrAphic (SAGA) mission projects.
- Lead the security baseline and implementation of projects and integrate security engineering in the development of both EuroQCI and SAGA.
- Maintain long-term relationships with industry partners and closely work with the CSC Security Office.
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in aerospace engineering, cyber security, telecommunications engineering, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of security threats against space missions and mitigations.
- Experience in security engineering for communications systems and modern applied cryptography.
- Knowledge in security standards; previous project experience in quantum communications is an asset.
