ISSOS is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher to join our team for the summer at St Andrews. This role provides a unique opportunity to inspire and educate international students aged 13-18, allowing you to share your artistic expertise and incorporate your personal flair into a dynamic classroom setting.

The role: As an Art Teacher at ISSOS, you will conduct a three-week course where you will teach various artistic techniques and styles. From line drawing and oil painting to sculpting and cartoon illustration, the curriculum is designed to cater to all skill levels, helping students to explore their artistic potential and develop a distinctive style. You will teach for 3 hours per day, four afternoons a week, and also participate in compulsory evening activities.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have prior teaching experience and a strong background in diverse artistic techniques. Experience teaching international students is preferred, and fluency in English is a must.

Benefits: ISSOS provides a supportive and fun environment where you can bring your own ideas to the classroom. While we offer a structured guide, we encourage our teachers to design their own engaging and challenging lesson plans. This position is fully residential, with accommodation and meals provided once students arrive. Staff are responsible for their meals during the three-day orientation. The total compensation for the full contract is £4,400 GBP, with up to £150 reimbursed for travel to and from St Andrews.

Additional information: All staff members must undergo a full criminal background check. ISSOS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its students and expects all staff to share this commitment. To apply, you must be a UK citizen or have the legal right to work in the UK, as we cannot sponsor visas.
