  • Instrumental in developing and expanding solar projects
  • Engage with clients through email and phone to guide them through our development pipeline
  • Address and resolve unique problems during solar project development using your technical, regulatory and problem-solving skills

Role Requirements:

  • Residence in the Brighton & Hove area
  • Ability to communicate effectively our key sales messages over the phone
  • A technical and regulatory understanding would be advantageous

Brighton Energy Co-op is a dedicated organization working towards expanding partnerships with large building owners across the South East to promote community energy and drive the growth of renewable energy projects. We are currently seeking a Solar Project Developer/Technical Sales Specialist to join our team.

The role: As a Solar Project Developer/Technical Sales Specialist, you will be instrumental in developing and expanding our solar projects. Your responsibilities will include engaging in multi-month email and phone conversations to guide clients through our development pipeline. You will also address and solve unique problems that arise during solar project development, leveraging your compliance, technical understanding, and problem-solving skills.

Job requirements: Applicants need to be based in the Brighton & Hove area. We are looking for individuals who can effectively convey our key sales messages in a supportive and progressive way over the phone. A technical and regulatory understanding, although not required immediately, will be beneficial as you will contribute to team discussions aimed at solving project-related issues.
