Senior GIS Specialist

The role: As a Senior GIS Specialist at Rivan Industries, you will be instrumental in accelerating our project development across Europe. This position involves working closely with our internal Land Managers and Project Managers from site origination through permitting, to construction handover. Your primary focus will be on the UK, Portugal, and Spain, but your influence will extend across many other countries in Europe as we expand.

Job requirements: Your responsibilities will include testing potential search areas for our projects, considering factors such as minimum land holding area and proximity to grid networks. You will engage in land title identification, ownership and usage mapping, and the production of various legal and ecological plans. Additionally, you will support Project Managers with documentation during the Permit Approval process and create tools for cost evaluation. Proficiency in Python scripting using ArcPy and open-source libraries is essential for automating workflows and maintaining project geodatabases.
