Conscious Impact has been working in Sindhupalchok, Nepal since the 2015 earthquake devastated communities. Our programs seek to partner with communities to build resilient livelihoods over the long-term. We support communities to rebuild not only physical structures, but community leadership and cooperation as well. Our work focuses in areas of sustainable infrastructure development, water, agriculture, environment, education and youth empowerment.
Volunteers live at our Sustainable Living Camp just nearby the village of Takure. As a volunteer, you experience rural living and get an intimate view of the culture and landscape that makes up Nepal. Our volunteers work alongside community members, learning from their traditions and way of life while our programs provide technical and material support for building resiliency.
