The Ooni Pizza Ovens team is expanding, and we are looking for a smart, hard-working individual to join our team at HQ as a Freight and Shipping Champion. We need a driven individual with experience in global shipping operations and a passion for precision to work with our Logistics team. The job:

• 
  
• Plan, manage and evaluate global shipping operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers
  
• Develop & mentor a small but awesome shipping and Inbound team
  
• Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organisation to improve operational and financial performance
  
• Assess and make recommendations for shipping processes with potential new suppliers and advise of cost implications and efficiency
  
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimisation opportunities
  
• Negotiate and contract with shipping suppliers
  
• Manage database of SKU classification for international shipments
  
• Ensure great communication across the business and keep a close eye on performance data via our platforms.

• Proven management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development
  
• Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally

• Excellent analytical skills with excellent understanding of ERP systems and shipping systems.

Desirable Experience with:

• Retail or e-commerce experience 
  
• EDI system knowledge
  
• IT skills (ERP and TMS management)
