Oatly, the pioneer oat drink company, prides itself as the world's first Climate Solutions food and beverage company. Famous for delicious drinks, Oatly's ethics are deeply rooted in health, transparency and sustainability to encourage healthier lives and a sustainable planet.

Role Summary:

  • We're looking for two Business Development Executives with a flair for building relationships and passion for outreach to trailing trading opportunities in East and Central London.
  • The role involves selling Oatly products to various outlets, understanding their business needs and finding ways to help them grow with Oatly.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience in customer-facing roles, comfort in commercial mathematics, and resilience in face of adversity.
  • Also crucial is the ability to work independently with a virtual and customer team, and willingness to travel for work. A driving licence is a plus.

Hello potential future Oatly employee. It’s us, the original oat drink company that started in Sweden back 30 or so years ago. We exist to make it easy for people to eat better and live healthier lives without recklessly taxing the planet’s resources in the process. Sustainability, health, and transparency are the core values that guide everything we do. We're also recognised as the world’s first Climate Solutions food and beverage company, and we do it all while making some of the most delicious drinks out there.

The Role We’ve identified two exciting opportunities for Oatly in London – so we’re looking for two new Business Development Executives to help us seize that opportunity! We want you to call on Out of Home outlets across the city – from coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants to potentially convenience stores, bars and event spaces – to sell in Oatly to businesses that don’t already have it, or help support sites that do with activations or education. You’ll need to know the area like the back of your hand, love being out and about, talking to customers, learning about their businesses and thinking of ways Oatly can help them grow. We're looking for one person to look after East London hot spots (Shoreditch, Hackney, Islington) and another to look after Central London (Soho, Borough, Camden). You can tell us which of the two you're interested in in the application form.

Who You Are If the below sounds like you, you could be a great fit: You've already got some experience in customer facing roles. If you're coming from a coffee background, that's a plus! You love building relationships, being out and about, visiting customers, talking to new people and getting stuff done. You’re comfortable (once taught) doing simple commercial maths like how to calculate margin. You’ll need to be a self-starter who is comfortable working mostly with a virtual team at Oatly – and the real life team of your customers! You’re energetic and resilient – you won’t let a “no” get you down. You'll brush yourself off, and come back even more determined to win the next time. You’re someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, adaptable to ad-hoc tasks and emerging project needs. You don't mind travelling for work to get the job done. If you've got a driving licence, it's a plus but not a must! You're motivated, enthusiastic, kind, and values driven, connected to our mission and driving real change in the food industry – just like our team.

The Perks Another bulleted list felt redundant, so we made this page talking about all the benefits we offer to sweeten the deal working with us before you apply.
