Role Summary:

The role: We are seeking two individuals to join our Constabulary Team as Constables, helping to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for visitors, staff, residents, and stakeholders. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will provide a highly visible front-line security presence across the Gardens, supporting daily operations, public events, and emergency responses. The role plays a vital part in safeguarding people, property, and assets while ensuring an excellent visitor experience.

Job requirements: Essential requirements include a good standard of education (minimum 5 GCSEs / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent), experience in a public-facing operational role, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to apply policies and procedures fairly and proportionately, a full UK driving licence, basic IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Word, willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks, willingness to undertake SIA training if required and to maintain First Aid at Work certification, and flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
