About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Development Office, you will work closely with the Director, Policy and External Relations and SBN Manager, Nutrition Connect.
The postholder will be the key point of contact for maintaining our relationships with business associations, coordinating collaboration with business stakeholders in global dialogues, guiding, advising and building private sector partnerships.
They will be responsible for expanding and putting into practice understanding and knowledge around critical private sector engagement issues, such as conflict of interest and accountability.

The starting salary for each office is as follows , depending on experience:
- United Kingdom: From GBP 47,438 – GBP 50,844 per annum
- The Netherlands: From EUR 58,536 – EUR 62,712 per annum
- Switzerland: From CHF 104,004 – CHF 111,444 per annum
Key Responsibilities include;
- Developing and maintaining links with key business associations in the food systems space, including GAIN’s involvement in Business Constituency Group and other private-sector collaborations
- Supporting the development of links and complementarities with other key private sector platforms/initiatives e.g., SBN, GAIN private sector alliances (Workforce Nutrition Alliance, Demand Generation Alliance)
- Coordinating with private sector stakeholders in Post-FSS coalition and pathways processes (including Zero Hunger Pledge, Investor Coalition, Commitment monitoring mechanisms)
- Guiding on practical issues in working with private sector partners – conflict of interest, accountability
- Supporting and advising on resource mobilization from the private sector (with Development Office)
- Supporting action and advocacy initiatives to improve the enabling environment for private-sector action on nutrition
About You
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in a private sector partnerships role, preferably including time working both in private sector and in the development sector.
You should have proven project management experience and substantial experience building and managing complex multi-stakeholders’ partnerships and platforms.
The postholder should have excellent presentation and communication skills with a proven ability to work in multicultural and multi-stakeholder environments.
Also, you should have the ability to coordinate the work of peers and senior management / partner representatives.
You should be highly flexible and willing to travel in globally. Business French and/or Spanish proficiency is desirable.
Candidates will ideally have an in-depth knowledge of the international development agenda with experience in global health/nutrition.
Postgraduate certification in international affairs, development studies and/or management or equivalent is required.
