About the opportunity
The Forestry team is mainly based in Bristol, UK but has staff and representatives based in Europe too. We are a friendly tight knit team who help each other out and often work across several portfolios.
We are responsible for FSC and PEFC certification activities in over 40 countries for both Forestry and Chain of Custody. This means there are loads of challenges, rewards and opportunities. Your work may be engaging with dealing with builders merchants in the UK on one day, and planning forest management audits in China the next. Much of the work is office based but with opportunity for travel under normal circumstances.
About you
We are looking for the following key skills:
-Substantial administrative and experience of client/customer management
-Knowledge and/or practical experience in the forestry and/or wood processing industry
You will also be:
• Inquisitive and interested
• Pragmatic and fair
• Comfortable with standards and QMS systems
• Great with people - Asian language skills beneficial, particularly Vietnamese
