This is a fantastic chance to use your experience in events or fundraising to take on this exciting role with the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. This is your opportunity to be part of a committed team focussed on helping create a world where people and wildlife can thrive together.

This is a great time to be joining us as Bespoke Events Fundraiser as we ramp up our bespoke events portfolio. Working with the Bespoke Events Manager, you will support the planning, development and delivery of existing WWF events including Big Winter Wander and Wear it Wild. You will also support the development of new events from ideation, through to launch, to enable us to reach new audiences and grow our participant numbers.

Day-to-day you will take responsibility for creating and maintaining event websites, as well as for producing engaging content to reach our supporters, such as stewardship emails, case studies and social media posts. You will manage event registrations and create promotional materials and event assets. This will involve preparing briefs and working with the brand team and supplier partners. Important in this role will be the ability to produce compelling copy, build emails, monitor engagement and suggest tests and improvements. You will also carry out regular competitor research to contribute to idea generation.

For this role, you must have experience of fundraising or working in events, preferably in the charity sector. Able to build effective relationships, you will be comfortable overseeing activities from planning and development through to evaluation and effective measurement. You will also have an eye for detail and sound working knowledge of database management. You will be able to oversee multiple projects too.

In addition, you will be good at prioritising and working as part of team. You must have excellent communication and PC skills too. Naturally you will have a passion for the natural world and the work we do.

If you have the expertise to help build a movement for nature by delivering amazing events, we would love to hear from you. Please click on the link and apply via our website by submitting a copy of your up-to-date CV and the Supporting Statement to highlight what makes you a good fit for us.

Every role at WWF is open to applications from all sections of society. We believe in the potential of everyone regardless of; sex, race, religion or belief, ethnic origin, different physical ability, family structure, socio-economics, age, nationality or citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other aspect that makes you, well you. Here at WWF, we are committed to conscious inclusion that helps cultivate an ethos of belonging, connection and shared purpose. We believe that the more diverse we are the better we become; this brings us together and empowers us to develop, engage and inspire; and critically to help build a future where people can live in harmony with nature.

Our policies and benefits reflect the importance of people being able to have a good work-life balance and being able to bring their ‘full self’ to work.
