Responsibilities
Manage relationships and inputs with important stakeholders across the education, political and commercial sectors
Work with partners to develop and fulfil Oak’s role within the curriculum and education policy landscape
Write speeches, presentations, briefings and public papers to communicate Oak’s role and impact
Continuous improvement of Oak’s external monitoring, stakeholder engagement and policy work
Deputise for the Head of External Relations and take on other general responsibilities as required
As a member of the Oak Team, contribute to the planning and culture of the organisation
Work in cross-functional and product-oriented squads with colleagues from across the organisation, as required
Knowledge, skills and experience
4+ years holding responsibility for the improvement of policy or stakeholder relations
Extensive knowledge of the education landscape and policy agenda
A skilled communicator, able to analyse, distil and convey complex information succinctly and build positive relationships with external stakeholders
Organised and detail oriented
The successful candidate will have a desire to contribute in all areas to ensure Oak is successful. You will be comfortable working at pace and you will continuously look at ways that the team can work more smartly. You will be excellent at working as part of a remote team, building relationships and managing your time effectively.
