Rivan Industries is a pioneering synthetic fuel company focused on decarbonising heavy industry. Our mission is to make synthetic fuel more affordable than fossil fuels, supporting life on earth by keeping CO2 underground. We design, manufacture, and deploy modular synthetic fuel plants, which include a DAC system, an Alkaline Electrolyser, and a Sabatier Reactor. We are also integrated with off-grid DC solar and the European gas-grid.
The role: As a Solar Development Manager, you will be responsible for various aspects of the planning and permitting process. This includes securing land rights and permits for new pipeline connections, overseeing early-stage planning work such as feasibility studies and land use compatibility applications, and preparing and submitting an AAI application. You will also manage social engagement strategies with local stakeholders and secure necessary municipal permits and authorisations for construction. Additionally, you will develop a communications plan across the hierarchy of stakeholders in the UK and Spain.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of professional experience, specifically with the planning process in the UK, ideally with NSIP/DCO. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is required.
