Role Summary
- Manage ERS-EO downstream activities including the definition and implementation of EOGS-SM ground segment framework and ensuring interoperability across all ERS-EO downstream components

Role Requirements
- Master's degree in relevant engineering field and at least ten years of relevant experience, particularly in managing complex ground segment implementations in the Earth observation domain
- Strong knowledge of mission planning, flight operations, data management, and security operations coordination
- Experience with ESA's and industrial implementation and procurement processes
- Familiarity with security and ability to acquire security clearance

The role: As the ERS-EO/Downstream Ground System Manager, you will be pivotal in managing the ERS-EO downstream activities. This includes the definition and implementation of the EOGS-SM ground segment framework and ensuring interoperability across all ERS-EO downstream components. Your responsibilities will encompass managing system-level activities, architectural definitions, and implementations, as well as coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in a relevant engineering field and at least ten years of relevant experience, particularly in managing complex ground segment implementations in the Earth observation domain. Strong knowledge of mission planning, flight operations, data generation and management, and security operations coordination is essential. Experience in security and familiarity with ESA and industrial implementation and procurement processes are also required.
