As the Climate Bonds Initiaitve embarks on the next exciting curve of its growth journey, we are looking for a Marketing Manager to deliver in this brand-new role.
As an accomplished marketing professional, you will be responsible for managing the creation of compelling content and messaging in keeping with Climate Bonds brand and tailored to key audiences such as staff, international network, donors, and other supporters.
You'll need to use your expert knowledge and marketing optimisation skills to maintain and grow the organisations position within the sustainable finance space, raising awareness of our work, building key communities, and driving income generation through specific engagement activity.
What you'll be doing...
- Lead the conceptualisation, development, and execution of an innovative global corporate marketing approach for Climate Bonds.
- Advise on best practice and guide the direction and development of key marketing materials that will support the organisation’s objectives and strategic priorities.
- Work closely with the Executive Director, Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Teams, technical specialists, and corporate service functions to develop, deliver and evaluate a schedule of funder/strategic partner acquisition and retention campaign assets.
- Identify engagement opportunities; develop propositions; and deliver audience-led marketing strategies and campaigns in support of the overall organisational strategic plan, including the conceptualisation and execution of a range of key corporate marketing assets and products; promotion; direct marketing; branding; digital materials; corporate presentations; sponsorships agreements; and more.
- Lead on audience/market research and analysis, and brand/ campaign tracking activity ensuring that recommendations are shared and acted on internally to inform future marketing campaigns.
- Ensure consistent messaging and integration of all marketing assets and channels, and to act as the brand guardian across the organisation.
- Facilitate and support the creation of engaging relevant and trending online and offline content and marketing materials. Design and implement creative marketing strategies to disseminate content.
- Measure the results of marketing activity to inform future marketing campaigns and implement SEO best practices to maximise reach and marketing performance.
- Lead and develop high performing solutions to execute this strategy, ensuring marketing budget and resources are allocated to deliver the best returns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Environmental Science or Environmental Finance, or similar.
- Demonstrable marketing and communications experience in the field of environmental science or sustainable finance, and a proven track record of delivering and executing exceptional marketing campaigns and programmes.
- Digital marketing experience with an understanding of Google analytics, SEO and PPC advertising, including use of CRM systems and social media platforms.
- Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management.
- Have keen eye for detail, excellent communication, written and proof-reading skills with experience of writing and designing for a variety of audiences.
- Enthusiastic, creative, and resourceful self-starter willing to take initiative with confidence.
- A strong team player, who thrives in a collaborative setting and works well within a busy environment.
- A natural problem solver, excited by growth environments.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to deliver at pace under tight time constraints.
- Strong influencing and communication skills, able to offer advise non-marketing professionals on industry best-practice.
- Ability to manage large campaigns and projects concurrently.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Highly analytical and proficient with business tools.
