The role: As the Senior Manager, Data System Development, you will lead the technical execution of our data platform, ensuring it meets the needs of city governments and local authorities. You will manage development sprints, oversee technical architecture, and ensure all features meet specifications. This role involves close collaboration with the Data System Regions and Partnerships teams to align with the broader strategic goals of C40 and the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy.
Job requirements: Applicants must have significant experience in managing technical projects, deep expertise in data platforms, and proficiency in modern web architecture and API implementation. A strong understanding of data integration and the ability to manage external consultants are essential. Fluency in English and preferably another UN language is required.
