CDP, one of the world’s leading climate change charities, is seeking a highly motivated individual to support CDP’s corporate engagement work. In your role as Data Analyst, Supply Chain, you will work closely with the supply chain team as they work with their members to embed sustainability into their procurement processes. Through a range of advisory, capacity building and analytical activities you will support the creation of data driven strategies to underpin ambitious corporate targets to reduce emissions, improve water security and halt deforestation in global supply chains. The role covers UK and Worldwide (WW) members. WW is defined as companies from regions not currently covered by other CDP offices or partners (e.g. Africa, Russia, Middle East)

About the Supply Chain Team
CDP’s Supply Chain team works with our member base to cascade action on climate change, deforestation and water security down the supply chain. Through this action, precipitated by annual disclosure and driven by engagement between customers and suppliers, CDP’s Supply Chain program continues to change the face of environmental stewardship across the world.
The role includes:
- Provide high level data analysis and delivery to support Senior Manager with strategy for program expansion.
- Equip account managers with high level and accurate analysis to support with their account management with members, increasing their capacity to focus on external-facing aspects of their role.
- Improve account manager work efficiency including product data quality assurance and response to member requests and inquiries.
- Grow SC UK&WW reach in term of sales and/or impacts and drive member action and supplier engagement (support in increase in supplier engagement rates.
- Knowledge share with other members of the team.
- Building timeseries progress data at the member and regional level. Upgrade knowledge and insight availability in delivering a better service for member.
- Delivering analysis of supplier data and facilitating member integration of data into procurement processes and decision making;
- Other work, as required, supporting global program initiatives and collaborating with other CSC teams to drive CDP impact and engagement objectives.
- Enhance collaboration-integration work across the team regional and/or globally for sharing knowledge, best practices, and CDP collab’s work.
Required skills and experience:
Essential
- Solutions driven with andinnovative enthusiastic spirit with the ability to self-manage andnavigate multiple tasks at one time.
- A clear understanding of theaims of CDP’s supply chain program and a strong conviction about CDP’simpact;
- Data analysis and thoroughresearch skills.
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Good working knowledge of theMicrosoft Office software suite with particular emphasis on Excel and CRM;
- Fluency in English.
Desirable
- Existing knowledge inunderstanding climate change, deforestation and water-related issues froma business and procurement perspective;
- Experience with programming language:
- 1+ yrs experience with python
- 1+ yrs experience with SQL
- 1+ yrs experience with Power-BI
- Experience of CDP and itsmission.
This is a full-time role based at CDP’s London office reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain.
Salary and benefits: £30,000 - £33,000per annum, 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, generous non-contributory pension provision, annual discretionary bonus (depending on company performance), Employee Assistance Programme, life assurance, training and development, flexible working opportunities and other benefits.
